• Collaborate with the rest of the team who, like you, still have no idea why anyone chose IT as a career but are glad they did.

What we need:

• Proven experience in making technology bow to your will (or at least in tech support or a similar role).
• Someone who speaks fluent technobabble but can also translate it into plain English for the uninitiated.
• A high tolerance for absurdity and change.
• A person who considers "turning it off and on again" to be a valid lifestyle choice.
• A diplomatic warrior who can keep their cool even when hearing “But it worked yesterday…”

Bonus points for:

• Really old, expired certifications.
• Lots of internet points on StackExchange. Reddit points are valued at 25%.
• A history of unrelated technology interests you've taken to extremes you’d be embarrassed to list on a resume.
• 6 years experience managing Microsoft Windows Server 2022 Essentials.
• Knowing what format to send your resume in.
