XVIII is Hiring a Snakebite Line Cook Near Idaho Falls, ID

As a Line Cook at The SnakeBite you will be an essential part of our kitchen team, responsible for preparing and cooking food items to the highest standards of quality and consistency. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients for cooking according to recipes and portion standards. This includes chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
  • Cooking: Cook and plate food items according to established recipes and presentation guidelines. Ensure that all dishes are cooked to perfection and meet quality standards.
  • Station Management: Manage assigned station on the line, ensuring that all necessary ingredients and equipment are readily available. Coordinate with other line cooks to maintain smooth workflow during busy periods.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process, making adjustments as necessary to ensure consistency and taste. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff, including chefs, sous chefs, and prep cooks, to coordinate food preparation and service. Communicate effectively to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment. Follow cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about menu items, specials, and promotions. Be able to answer customer questions and make recommendations based on knowledge of ingredients and cooking techniques.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Willingness to assist in other areas of the kitchen as needed.

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
