Description

IT Project Implementation

  1. Manage major IT projects from conception to go-live, including use case definition, vendor research, technical assessment, project scoping, training, change management, and communications.
  2. Key projects include implementation of an Information Technology Service Management Systems (ITSMS). Position will lead implementation of critical components for ticketing, onboarding, change management, contract management, asset management, and others.
  3. Develop budgeting planning tools and process across the network to track and predict hardware and software costs.

Security

  1. Security & Privacy by Design and Default.
  2. Assist in the implementation of the Principle of Least Privilege (PoLP).
  3. Review and develop policies to support security and appropriate use.
  4. Work within the boundaries of security best practices and standard operating procedures.
  5. Actively participate in the overall security effort by working with the Director of Information Technology and others to help build a draft ISO27001 information security program and ongoing security projects that address information security risks and compliance requirements.
  6. Identify and implement effective security systems that provide detection, prevention, containment, and deterrence mechanisms to protect and maintain the integrity of company data.

Help Desk

  1. Participate in Help Desksystemas a level 3 or 4 agent. Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, or via remote control, phone, chat, or email. Follow all help desk procedures as maintained by the help deskadministratorand/or manager. Be available to provide guidance and support of other help desk agents as requested.
  2. Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues; research questions using available information resources. Advise users on appropriate action.
  3. Follow up with internal customers to ensure complete resolution of issues. Redirect problems to correct resources when necessary. Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention. Inform management of recurring problems
  4. Help update training manuals for new and revised software and hardware. Train computer users as necessary.

General

  1. Conduct on site network assessments of locations across the organization in order to optimize network setup and reliability.
  2. Designing, organizing, and maintaining the technical infrastructure and systems of CBCHP.
  3. Administration of all CBCHP infrastructure.
  4. Assist in organizing, documenting, and maintaining the CBCHP hardware and software systems.
  5. Share in the managing of currently existing business and productivity systems.
  6. Stay current withsysteminformation, changes, and updates.
  7. Responsible for maintaining professional work standards.
  8. Available to be on-call as needed to support the Help Desksystemand organizational needs.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualifications in Information Systems administration and/or security or related technical discipline or relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years full time experience as an ITsystemadministrator.
  • Strong experience with server operating systems such as Windows Server 2019 is required.
  • Strong experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Google products including SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Intune, Teams is required. Experience with migrations from Google Workspace to M365 is a plus.
  • SaaS based ITSMsystembuildout and maintenance. Freshservice or similar ITSM experience a plus.
  • Microsoft product certifications are preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of endpoint protection systems is required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles as a means of relating business needs to security protocols.
  • Understanding of information security concepts, and industry best practices.
  • TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills written and oral.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical problems and solutions concisely and professionally to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized, productive, resourceful, and detail-oriented self-starter.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team; effectively manage multiple projects.
  • Able and willing to document processes, technical writing skills.
