Blumenthal Arts is Hiring a Part Time Accountant Near Charlotte, NC
Blumenthal Arts seeks a Part Time Accountant to assist with the expanding accounting needs of our innovative organization. This temporary position requires approximately 20 hours per week, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our exciting new experiences.
Your impact:
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts that may be assigned by Controller
- Prepare monthly sales tax payments
- Assist Controller with documenting processes and procedures and identifying potential process improvements
- Perform assigned month-end closing entries and reconciliations on a timely basis for each accounting period
- Assist Controller with year-end audit schedule preparation
- Assist Controller with budget preparation
- Audit account number coding to ensure proper expense distribution
- Perform general office duties, including entering data into the computer, preparing reports and correspondence, etc.
- Perform related duties as required
- Understand all general ledger Accounting processes in order to serve as a backup for Controller and other accounting personnel

Skills You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
- Previous experience with ERP systems for accounting, Business Central experience preferred.
