Position Overview

The Global Methodist Church in Grove City is a new start connected to a multi-site ministry with Riverside Church in Columbus.

The Church Worship Leader plays a crucial role in creating a spiritually uplifting and engaging worship experience for the congregation. This individual will lead and coordinate the musical aspects of worship services which will be offered weekly on Sunday morning beginning in July 2024. The Worship Leader will be working closely with the pastoral team to enhance the overall atmosphere of the worship service.

Approximate Hours

Total of 10 hours per week

Compensation is based on education, certifications and experience.

Spiritual Vitality: A demonstrated spiritual maturity grounded in a committed faith in Christ.

Servant Mindset: Must possess a servant’s heart demonstrated by a strong work ethic.

Thoughtfulness: A demonstrated ability to authentically put others first.

Clear Communicator: Proactively communicates clearly with Pastoral team, congregation, and others involved in the music ministry.

Musical Competency: Ability to play a key board and/or guitar, sing, and lead a congregation in worship.

Pay: $20.12 - $21.42 per hour
