Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe. As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to accurately document patient encounters and assist with medical record management. Responsibilities:
- Utilize electronic medical record systems to transcribe and document patient encounters
- Accurately record medical histories, physical examinations, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and accurate medical documentation
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information
- Assist with medical record management, including filing, organizing, and retrieving patient records, collecting samples and scheduling Ups pickups.
- Provide administrative support as needed, such as completing prescription requests, submitting necessary paperwork for specialty medications and answering patient's inquiries.

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is required
- Excellent typing skills with the ability to transcribe accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
