Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging and interactive lesson plans in accordance with the science curriculum and NGSSS

- Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to enhance students' understanding of scientific concepts

- Assess students' progress through assignments, exams, and projects

- Provide guidance and support to students in their scientific research projects

- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment

- Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of science education

- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of middle school science topics

- Ability to develop and implement effective curriculum plans that align with educational standards

- Proficiency in lesson planning and delivery techniques to engage students in active learning

- Experience in conducting laboratory experiments and guiding students in hands-on activities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues

- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and student assessments

- Passion for teaching and inspiring students to explore the wonders of science

- Experience in higher education teaching or scientific research is a plus

Pay: $38,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
