What we are looking for 🕵️‍♀️

We are looking for a Java Lead to join our team in Colombia. This will be a customer facing role supporting our team in Colombia as well as in the US. 
Responsibilities:

• Ownthetechnicalarchitectureanddesignofthesolutionandoverseedevelopment activitieswhenactingasthetechnicalleader
• ImplementandmaintainrobustbackendservicesusingJavaandSpringBootwithinour microservicearchitecture
• DesignRESTfulAPIsandevent-basedmessagingforsmoothinterservicecommunication, ensuringseamlessdataflowbetweenthefrontendandbackend
• OverseethedeploymentandmanagementofservicesontheAWS,focusingonscalability, security,andperformance
• Regularlyevaluatetheapplication'sperformance,optimizingcodeandinfrastructuretomeet andexceedperformancebenchmarks
• Performcodereviewsandenforcecodingguidelinesandbestpractices
• Ownsoftwarereleaseactivities,including,butnotlimitedto,reviewingcodechanges, clientdemos,QAhand-offs,andpresentingsolutionsandjustificationsfortasks
• Debugortroubleshootcomplexorcriticalissuesthatcannotbehandledbyjunior positions,andproviderootcauseanalysis

Requirements

• 6 YearsofExperienceinsoftwaredevelopmentwithJava(8 versions),Spring(MVC, Boot,Security)
• 2 YearsofExperienceasatechnicalleader,strongleadershipskills
• WebServices,Microservices,RestAPIs
• Experiencewithclouddevelopment(PreferablyAWS)
• Experiencewitheventdrivenarchitecturedevelopment(PreferablyAWS)
• Significantknowledgeofcomplexdatabaseconcepts,experiencewithSQLdatabases
• Abletodemonstratestrongworkexperienceinanalyzingalgorithmslike searching, sorting, andotheralgorithms
