Title: Practice Administration, Assistant to Owner and Office Manager
Purpose: To create a professional practice image by performing the duties of Front Desk Assistant and Reception.
One day a week only.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills
Ability to work in a low to medium volume atmosphere, in a high end practice valuing discretion, best possible customer service; ability to organize and prioritize work and to meet deadlines; implement new policies and procedures; excellent written and oral communication skills. To be interested and helpful in the development of the practice, in terms of volume, professionalism, and transition from traditional insurance based model. Strong observation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree
Experience
At least 1 year of experience in administrative office work and/or business management. EXPERIENCE IN HEALTHCARE FIELD IS NOT REQUIRED. In fact, we looking for an open minded professional, interested in changing the status quo.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and or Google Suite. And preferably, electronic medical record and medical billing systems, will train in WebPT and Therabill if not familiar.
Reliability
Must be attentive, able to follow instructions, demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, and have an acceptable attendance record
Administrative and Management Functions:
Exhibit exceptional patient, staff and management relations and communications. Greeting patients. Attending to phone calls, voice mail and text message in a timely manner throughout working shift hours.
Daily and weekly functions:
Data entry into EMR: WebPT and Therabill.
Scheduling, over phone, and monitoring patients who self schedule.
Is proficient in and able to cover for any and all ad-lib and non-foreseable administrative demands within the company
Serves as first contact for all patient complaints and handles them appropriately in coordination with Management
Maintain good relationships with all other staff physical therapists.
Works with clinical staff to ensure necessary documentation is complete to maximize billing and payments
Maintain his or her hourly timesheet

Initiative: seek out new resources and be willing to take over responsibilities to ensure that the business continues to run at top efficiency
