Position Title: Director of Christian-Based Preschool

Job Description: The Director of our Christian-Based Preschool plays a vital role in leading and managing all aspects of the preschool’s operations while upholding our Christian values and principles. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for early childhood education, and a deep commitment to nurturing children’s spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical development.

Responsibilities:

1. Spiritual Leadership:

• Provide spiritual guidance and leadership in alignment with Christian values.

• Incorporate biblical principles into curriculum and daily activities.

• Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where children can grow in their faith.

2. Educational Leadership:

• Oversee curriculum development and implementation to ensure it meets academic standards and reflects Christian teachings.

• Supervise teaching staff, providing support, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and educational standards.

3. Operational Management:

• Manage day-to-day operations, including enrollment, budgeting, and facilities management.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient learning environment.

• Collaborate with parents, staff, and the broader community to enhance the preschool’s reputation and impact.

4. Community Engagement:

• Cultivate relationships with parents, churches, and community organizations to promote the preschool’s mission and values.

• Organize and participate in events, such as open houses and fundraisers, to build connections and support for the preschool.

5. Staff Development:

• Recruit, hire, and train qualified staff members who share the preschool’s Christian ethos. • Conduct regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support staff growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Demonstrated understanding of Christian teachings and a commitment to integrating faith into education.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of state licensing regulations and educational standards for preschools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,401.00 - $61,774.00 per year
