SEASONAL JOB OPENING

Chaffin Farms is a diversified growing cash crop family farm. We operate approximately 10,000 acres located in Ithaca Mi.

This Seasonal Position is mainly for truck driving; however, you will have opportunities to be involved in all aspects of the farm such as: planting, cultivating, disking, manure conservation practices, irrigation & maintenance.

Must be hard -working, self-motivated, knowledge to trouble shoot, provide minor repairs, ability to work systematically & independently, detail oriented, strong communication skills and eager to learn.

Requirements:

Preferred High School Diploma or GED

A Valid Michigan Driver’s license

A Clean driving record

F Endorsement or CDL class A preferred

Must be physically fit & able to lift 50lbs

Must pass a drug test

Be able to work in all weather conditions

Able to adapt to a stressful fast paced environment
