General Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

Gameday Men’s Health is a unique health center focused solely on the health and wellbeing of men. It is our belief that men can thrive well into old age through focused patient care and treatment.

***NOTE: This is a new business and we anticipate opening August 12, 2024. All employees will be required to start training in July, to include travel out of state for a few days prior to opening. Additionally, we will initially open 3 days a week (WED-FRI) and then increase to full-time (MON-FRI) once we have the demand (estimated 90-120 days after opening).

General Manager Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, manage, supervise, and monitor the workings of various departments in the practice.
• Determine staffing requirements, organize recruitment, complete interviews, hire, determine placement of staff, teach and train new employees.
• Payroll management including: administering employee payroll, organization of practice insurance, and tabulation of accrued employee benefits.
• Responsible for managing employees, generating practice schedules and assigning specific duties to meet operational requirements while staying within the practice budget.
• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operational data and trends. Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
• Review sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas for cost reduction and program improvement. Future tasks may include analyzing financial statements to improve profitability.
• Maintains inventory of medicines, office equipment and office supplies by studying usage reports, identifying trends, anticipating needed supplies, approving order requests and evaluating cost distributions.
• Ensure that all legal standards for medical records are met. This includes that all information sent out meets the legal standards for release of protected health information (i.e. HIPAA).
• Ensure that the practice stays well within the medical guidelines, ethics and laws.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• University/college degree in management is a plus
• At least 2 years of successful management experience.
• Experience working in a medspa, medical setting, or health/wellness business is preferred.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
