The Logistics Lead will be responsible for overseeing all logistics operations on the recycling business's manufacturing production floor. This includes managing the supply chain processes for incoming raw materials, optimizing internal material flows during production, and ensuring the efficient dispatch of finished goods. The role also involves maintaining accurate inventory levels, implementing sustainability practices, and leveraging technology to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Management:

• Develop and manage relationships with suppliers of recyclable materials (CieTrade) to ensure a consistent and timely supply of inputs.
• Coordinate with sales and distribution channels to ensure that finished goods are delivered to customers promptly and efficiently.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accurate records of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Implement inventory management systems to forecast demand and trigger replenishment orders.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and analyses to identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.

Production Floor Logistics:

• Coordinate the internal movement of materials through the production process, from receipt of raw materials to the shipping of finished goods.
• Work closely with production managers to schedule production runs, ensuring that materials are available when needed to meet production goals.

Sustainability and Compliance:

• Ensure logistics operations comply with environmental regulations and industry standards related to recycling and waste management.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or general education degreet (GED)
• Minimum of 1 year of prior related logistics lead experience in a manufacturing field.
• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the recycling industry or a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and use it to make informed decisions.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices related to recycling.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
