Court Liaison (Dodge County) - Team Georgia Careers is Hiring an Admin Assistant 2 - Court Liaison (*Dodge County) Near Eastman, GA

Central State Hospital (CSH), The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), is currently seeking a full time Court Liaison for our Jail Based Competency Restoration program that will be based onsite in Dodge County, GA.

Job Grade: G

Job Description:

The duties of this position include coordinating with the court systems across the state of Georgia for admissions as well as the discharge process. The position also serves as a Liaison with Law Enforcement for the purpose of arranging transportation to and from Dodge County. Maintain complete documentation of individuals legal status and submit documents to the courts and be the point of contact for jails, courts and other facilities.

Duties:

  • Under general supervision, performs a wide range of office administration duties for assigned functions or program areas, duties may be complex in nature and may involve access to confidential information.
  • May research, investigate, and/or resolve program data or issues. Drafts documentation, reports, or presentations.
  • Represents program or unit, provides information and assistance to internal and external customers.
  • Provides administrative support to assigned area. Provides assistance and problem resolution to claimants, employers, staff, other agencies, and/or the general public. Provides program, administrative, and/or technical assistance and interpretation 
  • Researches and resolves detailed program or client issues/questions and prepares documents.
  • Provides program, administrative, and/or technical assistance to customers and staff Researches and/or resolves program or client issues or questions May represent the manager in various matters.
  • Supports routine administrative functions for the agency/office, such as travel expenses, car rentals, leases, vendors, contracts, telecommunications, building security, purchasing, billing/credit, inventory, property control, personnel, payroll, and etc.

*Additional Information -Selected applicant must meet the following standards: 

1.Must pass a pre-employment background check (which includes criminal records check, driver's history, and verification of work history) and a post-hire federal background investigation.

2.Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and will be placed in the pool for the State Random Drug Testing Program.

3.Eligible to work in the U.S.

4.Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
