Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, including transport in company vehicle, medication administration, and first aid. Your role will involve direct support, cleanliness maintenance, and assistance with personal care. We are looking for candidates who are knowledgeable about HIPAA regulations and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.

Duties:
- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals in need
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor and document changes in individuals' physical and emotional well-being
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for individuals
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with individuals
- Implement behavior management techniques as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for individuals

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in personal care, nursing, hospice care, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration and first aid procedures
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to provide compassionate care and maintain confidentiality
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and adherence to privacy guidelines
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in healthcare or caregiving is a plus
