We are a 20 year old company, but under new ownership we are growing and expanding. We are seeking motivated, honest, hardworking, and diligent individuals to join our team as we expand our services across all of southwest Missouri (Springfield, Joplin, and Branson)

Job Summary:

The Lead Roofing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing all roofing projects, ensuring that they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating with clients, managing roofing crews, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and building codes. The Lead Roofing Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining the reputation of the company and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Plan, oversee, and manage roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and lead roofing crews, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on project progress, addressing any concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of roofing work to ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and client expectations.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety procedures and regulations are followed on-site, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Material Management: Coordinate the procurement, delivery, and use of materials, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available when needed and used efficiently.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during roofing projects, including unexpected repairs, weather-related delays, or personnel conflicts.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project details, including work completed, materials used, labor hours, and any changes to the original scope of work. Prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical advice and support to team members, leveraging extensive knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and best practices.
  • Training and Development: Mentor and train roofing crew members, promoting continuous improvement and professional development within the team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certification in roofing, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in roofing, with several years in a supervisory or leadership role. Extensive knowledge of different roofing systems and techniques is essential.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as OSHA safety training, Certified Roofing Contractor, or similar credentials are advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with roofing tools and equipment, as well as an understanding of construction software and project management tools.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of roofing materials, installation techniques, repair methods, and safety protocols.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address issues that arise during roofing projects.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks and work in various weather conditions, as roofing work can be physically demanding.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: Extensive experience with both residential and commercial roofing projects.
  • Certifications: Additional certifications related to specific roofing systems (e.g., TPO, EPDM, shingle, metal roofing) and project management.

Work Environment:

The Lead Roofing Supervisor will work both in office settings and on-site at various roofing projects. The role requires travel to job sites, which may involve working at heights, in varying weather conditions, and on weekends or extended hours to meet project deadlines.

Additional Requirements:

  • Licensing: Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Insurance: Ensure all projects comply with company and client insurance requirements.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
