Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and expertise.
AC/Heated shop
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on vehicles
- Conduct inspections and identify any potential problems or safety concerns
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Follow repair manuals and schematics to ensure accurate repairs
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed
- Service air brakes and perform other brake system repairs
- Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, and alignment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with various vehicle makes and models
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics and repair manuals
- Ability to accurately estimate repair costs for customers
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose complex issues
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality repairs and maintenance
