**Job Title: Pool Service Technician**

**Overview:**

As a Pool Service Technician, you’ll ensure the smooth operation and cleanliness of pools for residential or commercial clients. Your role is essential in maintaining a safe and enjoyable swimming environment. From routine maintenance to equipment repairs, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things pool-related.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Routine Maintenance:** Keep pools clean and safe through regular skimming, vacuuming, and chemical treatment to maintain optimal water quality.

2. **Equipment Inspection and Repair:** Conduct thorough inspections of pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and heaters. Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs or replacements to keep systems running smoothly.

3. **Chemical Management:** Monitor and adjust chemical levels in pool water to ensure proper pH balance and sanitation, keeping detailed records of measurements and treatments.

4. **Customer Interaction:** Interact with clients professionally, addressing their concerns, answering questions, and providing expert advice on pool maintenance and care.

5. **Emergency Response:** Respond promptly to service calls, especially in emergencies such as equipment failures or water quality issues. Take swift action to resolve problems and prevent further damage.

6. **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and client interactions. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

7. **Safety Compliance:** Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in pool maintenance, plumbing, or a related field preferred.

- Strong understanding of pool chemistry and equipment operation.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication and customer service abilities.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

**Physical Requirements:**

- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.

- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
