Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant to join our team. As a CPA, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and assisting with financial decision-making. This is a crucial role that requires strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to analyze complex financial data. Duties: - Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards - Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions - Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments - Provide guidance on tax planning and preparation - Assist with the preparation of SEC filings and compliance with securities laws - Perform cost analysis and identify areas for cost reduction - Utilize accounting software such as PeopleSoft to manage financial data Requirements: - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Strong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of accrual accounting principles - Experience in corporate accounting or public accounting is preferred - Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations is a plus - Knowledge of corporate finance principles and practices - Proficiency in using accounting software and tools - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail - Strong understanding of securities laws and regulations - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines At our company, we value our employees' expertise and offer competitive compensation packages.
