Description: 
As a Business Strategist for Acorn Influence, you will play a vital role in developing innovative digital strategies that leverage influencers to drive consumer engagement, brand visibility, and sales in retail environments. This role will provide you with a unique opportunity to learn and grow within the influencer marketing industry while contributing to our agency's and our client's success. 

You’ll bring marketing narratives to life by creating comprehensive budgets, tactics, and creative plans for major brands. This role is to build best-in-class strategies surrounding influencer programming, selection, planning, and best measurements for all campaigns. Through individual contribution, you will help develop strategic platforms to drive client success in all influencer marketing efforts. The Strategist position offers a cross-functional experience and the right candidate will be comfortable collaborating with different departments, working to incorporate active feedback into the strategic planning process.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with client shopper marketing objectives, including supporting the creation of pricing strategies, proposals, and pitches for client RFPs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Client Success, Paid Media, and Creative, to design and recommend influencer campaigns utilizing social media, paid social media platforms, and programmatic media strategies. 
  • Conduct research and analysis of competitor campaigns to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in our clients' shopper marketing strategies.
  • Stay updated with digital marketing trends, technologies, and platform developments, contributing to the agency's innovation efforts.
  • Support in providing strategic recommendations to clients, helping them maximize the impact of investment through effective influencer collaborations.
  • Contribute to a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence within the strategy team.
  • Prepare presentations on strategic plans - creating and finessing decks with great attention to detail on consistent formatting and clean, on-brand aesthetic.
  • Research, identify, and create rationales for sample influencers based on client targeting and goals utilizing third-party platforms for creator search. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Acorn methodology, how it applies to projects from start to finish how to analyze project effectiveness
  • Always be willing to speak up when you have an insight or skill to share with the team

Requirements:

Experience: 

  • (Preferred) 1-2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in:
    • Shopper & E-Comm (Omni-Channel) Marketing, Digital Ad Tech, Content Development, Social Media, Digital Media, Advertising and Public Relations

Education : 

  • (Preferred) Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, Advertising and Public Relations or other related fields or equivalent prior work experience
  • Any vertical expertise in CPG/Non-CPG categories (eg Auto, Entertainment, Financial Services, Pharma, Telecom, Travel, QSR etc. would be a plus

Qualifications:

  • Must be inquisitive, a self-starter, and proactive in problem-solving
  • Demonstrated interest in digital marketing, influencer marketing, or shopper marketing.
  • Be very organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once - multitasking expertise required
  • Will be articulate and succinct across all professional communications

  • Be an expert in client-facing and internal communications; across email and meetings. 
  • Be as comfortable working with hard budgets and data as they are building creative materials that tell a story
  • Be knowledgeable about today’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and be able to think strategically about how they should apply to marketing programs
  • Have the ability to effectively present and communicate with others
  • Create, maintain, and grow relationships with coworkers
  • Have a positive, team-player attitude and desire to take on new challenges
  • Be adaptable to learning new tools and technology
  • Be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment - We are a quickly growing start-up

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000
The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidate's qualifications and experience uniquely. Acorn is headquartered in Rogers, AR.
