Reports to: Social Media Specialist
Salary: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 Annually
Location: Orlando, FL.
Travel: 10% out-of-state travel, local travel between Orlando and Kissimmee based on projects.
Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Contributing to and implementing social media strategies to increase our online presence and engagement.
  • Creating and curating high-quality, visually appealing content for various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
  • Monitoring and responding to comments, messages, and mentions to maintain a positive and interactive online community.
  • Planning and scheduling posts, updates, and promotions to ensure a consistent online presence.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to coordinate digital marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Tracking and analyzing social media metrics and providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Staying up to date with social media trends and best practices to keep our content fresh and exciting.
RequirementsQualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field OR relevant work experience.
  • 1-2 years experience in managing social media accounts for a brand, preferably in the entertainment or theme park industry (but not required).
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics preferred.
  • Strong writing and creative skills to craft engaging and shareable content.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with the online community effectively.
  • A passion for amusement parks and a good understanding of our target audience.
  • The ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Compliance with Fun Spot America Theme Park’s drug-free workplace policy, including consent to pre-employment drug testing and adherence to federal, state, and local laws regarding drug and alcohol use.
  • Successfully undergo a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle check when applicable.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
