Opus Connect is Hiring a Remote Sponsorship Sales Jr. Associate 2024 (REMOTE)

We are looking for an amazing, proactive Sponsorship Sales Junior Associate to join Opus Connect and contribute to our growth trajectory. This role offers the chance to work closely with industry leaders, enhancing your knowledge of the private equity and M&A sectors. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, with a keen interest in developing sales strategies and building relationships with potential sponsors to support our events and initiatives. 

Background

Opus Connect is a lower middle and middle market M&A focused professional organization with members in fields of private equity, banking, finance, and other transactional professions. Guided by our 2024 vision, we aim to redefine M&A by fostering collaboration, delivering insights, and offering specialized services, transforming the industry landscape. This role will be instrumental in driving this transformation, playing a pivotal role in creating engaging content that communicates our vision, differentiates Opus Connect, and fuels product adoption. 

Objectives

  • Increase sponsorship database and revenue from new customers, supporting the growth and success of Opus Connect community.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of sponsor relationships, enhancing the value and reach of our platform.
  • Contribute to the overall success and visibility of Opus Connect in the M&A and private equity community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Increase the database of potential sponsors for the company.
  • Research and identify potential sponsors and develop sponsorship packages tailored to their goals.
  • Assist in developing and presenting sponsorship proposals that align with both Opus Connect's goals and the potential sponsor's objectives.
  • Support the management of sponsor relationships, ensuring their needs are met and exploring opportunities for renewal and upselling.
  • Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure sponsorship benefits are delivered effectively.
  • Track and report on sales progress against targets, providing insights to refine sales strategies.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor sponsorship strategies to identify new opportunities and areas for improvement.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficient level of professional English
  • Minimum 3 years experience in developing and executing business development strategies for sponsorships that align with organizational goals, with a proven track record in securing sponsorships. 
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and independent abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM and office management software.
