Job Title: Part-Time Housekeeper Location: Upper West Side, Manhattan Schedule: 2 days (16 hours) guaranteed per week with possibility for more Compensation: $45-$55 hourly DOE
Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. This position will ensure the cleanliness and orderly presentation of a private residence, providing a welcoming and well-maintained environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in professional cleaning or housekeeping, a commitment to high standards of cleanliness, and a preference for using organic, non-toxic cleaning products.
Responsibilities
Cleaning and Maintenance

• Perform thorough cleaning of all rooms in the residence, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including mirrors, fixtures, showers, and baths.
• Clean kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning appliances, counters, and floors.
• Change bed linens and manage laundry tasks, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes.
• Wardrobe maintenance as needed
• Stocking of refrigerator as requested

Organization

• Organize cabinets, closets, and room settings to ensure an orderly environment.
• Restock essential supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning products.
• Assist in decluttering spaces, disposing of refuse, and arranging items neatly.
  Health and Safety

• Adhere to the safe use of organic and non-toxic cleaning chemicals, ensuring proper handling and application.
• Maintain a safe environment by identifying and reporting potential hazards.
  Qualifications

• Proven experience as a housekeeper or in a similar cleaning role.
• Strong preference and familiarity with organic, non-toxic cleaning
  supplies and their applications.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices, with a focus on
  eco-friendly methods.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high cleanliness
  standards.
• Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, and
  bend.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written
  instructions.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
