Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling transactions accurately and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets
- Redeem coupons and stamps
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Keep reports of transactions

Pay rate $16 cash $ 24 overtime cash

Qualifications:

- Proven working experience in retail cashier or sales
- Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer satisfaction-oriented
- Attention to detail and mathematical skills
- Sales skills

Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of retail math principles
- Experience with POS systems
- Previous experience in electronics or jewelry sales
- Ability to stock merchandise efficiently
- Bilingual proficiency for customer assistance
- Proficiency in phone etiquette for customer inquiries

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
