Position Overview:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth in the U.S. market, leveraging our extensive product range and sustainable energy solutions. The role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, establishing, and nurturing client relationships, and contributing to our mission of promoting renewable energy.
Key responsibilities:
1. Hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days in the office at our Irvine, CA location
2. Business Development: Identify and pursue sales opportunities in residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar projects.
3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
4. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and potential growth areas.
5. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets, including setting sales goals and forecasting.
6. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a sales team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and optimize customer satisfaction.
8. Reporting and Analysis: Monitor sales performance, provide regular reports to management, and adapt strategies as necessary.
Qualifications:
· 3 years B2B direct sales experience in Solar PV Module Industry. Selling directly to Installers, Distributors, EPCs and IPPs.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
· Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the solar energy or renewable energy sector.
· Strong understanding of the U.S. solar market, including regulatory and market trends.
· Cross-team collaboration with Imperial Star Solar
