The IT Technician provides tier 1 and tier 2 onsite and remote technology support for all Netpoint clients’ servers, workstations, printers, and phones.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Use excellent interpersonal skills to foster and maintain existing client relationships
OS and application patch management utilizing various tools and methods
Utilize a comprehensive ticket management system for time tracking and issue resolution in conjunction with a remote management and monitoring system
Work with vendors to get software and firmware updates installed and resolve ongoing client issues
Assists in troubleshooting and maintaining network, server, and miscellaneous equipment
Monitors, manages, maintains, and updates workstations
Maintains impeccable records including issue resolution, time tracking, mileage, and expenses
Position Requirements:
Experience with Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Windows desktop operating systems, Windows server operating systems
Experience with TCP/IP network environments
Work Condition and Physical Requirements:
Valid Ohio driver’s license with safe driving record and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a comprehensive drug screening
Must pass a federal and state background check
Work in a range of environments including office settings or closed spaces; lifting, moving, and delivering equipment; driving up to 50 miles
