Family Childcare Worker/Substitute
We are a licensed home-based family group childcare looking to add 2 additional flexible staff members. We have a mixed-age group of children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. We are located in Rochester, NH. If you are looking to put some fun in your work day, you've found the right place. We have a play and life experience based learning approach. We enjoy taking field trips to restaurants, museums, movies, libraries, parks, walks, hiking, grocery shopping, taking a ride to the beach or riding the rides at an amusement park. Having real life experiences are an invaluable lesson for children of any age. We actively engage children and encourage social/emotional, cognitive & physical growth while providing opportunities of curiosity through every experience they encompass while enjoying a day of fun & laughter.
Job description
Hours 15-30 hours per week (flexibility a must)
Qualifications
- Experience with children, childcare, and classroom settings
- Comfortable working with students of various ages and needs with ability to provide infant and toddler care
- Familiarity with daycare operations
- Classroom management and behavior management skills
- Knowledge of early childhood education/childhood development a plus
- Must clear a full background check with fingerprinting & pass a health screening
- CPR/First Aid Certification for Adult/Child (company paid)
