State of the art pediatric dental practice looking for a welcoming, friendly individual for the position of Front Desk Receptionist. Accepting dental assistants as well.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors.
• Answer phone calls.
• Schedule/confirm appointments and handle cancellations.
• Collect insurance information and verify benefits.
• Enter insurance pre-authorizations and be able to explain out of pocket expenses to patients (copays, deductibles etc).
• Perform clerical functions such as copying, filing, and faxing.
• Helps clinical staff as needed.

Ideal Candidate:

• At least one year of experience in a dental office.
• Dual trained as a dental assistant is a huge plus.
• Insurance knowledge.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Computer/technology savvy.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service.
• Attention to detail and well-organized.
• Reliable, punctual, honest.

This is a part time opportunity (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, one Saturday a month) with future full time opportunity as the office grows.
