Job Overview:

Health Home First is looking for reliable and compassionate individuals to join our team as School Transportation Drivers. This position entails providing safe and punctual transportation for students with unique needs, ensuring their comfort and security during transit.

Responsibilities:

● Safely transport students to and from school.

● Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

● Assist students in boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed.

● Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and transportation coordinators.

● Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications:

● Valid driver’s license.

● Must be 21 years of age or older.

● Prior experience in student transportation or a similar role is preferred.

● Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

● Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

● Patient, compassionate, and reliable.

Compensation:

● $45 net pay for trips 0-16 miles (after fees).

● Higher pay for trips exceeding 16 miles.

Requirements:

● Availability to work early mornings and afternoons on school days.

● Ability to manage and respond to the needs of children with disabilities or special needs.
