We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical estimating, project management, and negotiation skills. If you have a background in electrical or general contracting, we encourage you to apply.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare accurate and timely estimates for electrical projects
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and team members to gather necessary information
- Utilize software such as Bluebeam to perform takeoffs
- Negotiate prices with vendors
- Ensure that all estimates comply with regulations and quality standards
- Maintain excellent relationships with general contracts to maximize bid opportunities
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in construction estimating techniques
- Strong negotiation skills
- Knowledge of construction management principles
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam software
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
