Vertex is seeking a qualified candidate for the Full Time Primary Substance Abuse Counselor position in our Outpatient Programs located in Brooklyn, Queens, and Bronx. The Substance Abuse Counselor is responsible for the delivery and implementation of supervision, support, and clinical services to a population of chemically dependent clients, who may have co-occurring disorders and/or involvement within the criminal justice system. 

Job Description:

As a CASAC Counselor at Vertex LLC, you will employ evidence-based approaches to guide participants through the recovery process, focusing on improving their health, wellness, family connections, and socio-economic engagement. You will utilize trauma-informed care to create personalized treatment plans and support each participant's journey through various stages of recovery.
