About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager- Telecommunications to be an important part of our growing team. The Warehouse Manager- Telecommunications will be responsible for assisting the Field Operations Manager, Accounting and OSP team in managing multiple aspects of field activities, including warehouse and vehicle management, inventory, and dispatch. This position’s objective is to support the successful deployment and activities of the field team in line with Cityside Fiber’s customer experience ethos. To be successful in this role you will have exceptional attention to detail, a problem-solving mindset and a strong desire to work within a team environment to accomplish long-term goals. You will operate in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment and excel in hitting the Company’s objectives. To be successful you will have superior communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand Cityside Fiber’s core purpose and values and be passionate about what we do.
• Managing warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
• Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations in field office and yard (with assistance by our Yard Supervisor).
• Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system, computers, tablets.
• Assist the Field Operations Manager in supporting the day-to-day operations of our field teams, including resource allocation and quality control.
• Ensure that vehicles are fit for service and stocked with necessary supplies daily and coordinate with management to place timely orders for restock.
• Coordinate fleet service management, including tracker control, cleanliness of interior and exterior surfaces, inbound/outbound key usage, and scheduling regular vehicle service.
• Maintain inventory management records through NetSuite and other necessary tracking processes and help coordinate inventory oversight with construction supplies at field office and yard (with assistance by our Yard Supervisor).
• Coordinate with multiple departments (e.g. Accounting, Field Services and OSP) when performing duties.
• Track incoming shipments, be available for shipment intake/processing and timely stocking.
• Assist in field support to ensure team efficiencies and process escalations as required.
• Work in and contribute to an atmosphere of trust and integrity with fellow employees to ensure the overall success of Cityside Fiber.

Qualifications

• High energy individual who is willing to be an integral part of a high growth service provider who puts people first, dares to be different and has fun disrupting an industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5 years of experience in field operations and services in the telecom industry
• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Capable to operate standard Warehouse equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and inventory management programs
• Experience using NetSuite is highly preferred
• Proven track record of connecting with customers and producing high satisfaction scores
• Strong knowledge of the fiber internet market and technology trends
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Advanced service skills in problem-solving, particularly billing issues
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Ability to learn new technical skills quickly
• Customer-focused and committed to providing exceptional service
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary
• OSHA 30 preferred
• OSHA Forklift training certified
• Clean DMV record

Location

Our Headquarters and field offices are located in Irvine. May be required to travel to project/customer sites to fulfill job responsibilities.

Compensation

Starting at $65,000 annually (actual starting rate may be higher based on candidate’s qualifications, skills and years of experience).
