Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and sew fabric based on existing patterns and designs.
- Operate various types of sewing machines and other necessary equipment to assemble aprons.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Adjust the sewing process as required to enhance product quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
- Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines and equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to understand specifications and improve product outcomes.
- Manage fabric and sewing supplies inventory effectively.
- Complete sewing projects within set deadlines.
- Proven experience as a Seamstress or similar role, with a strong portfolio of past work (particularly in garment assembly).
- Proficient in operating industrial sewing machines and other related equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of different fabric types and their respective sewing techniques.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to creating high-quality products.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and patterns.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Good communication skills, capable of keeping team members and management informed of progress.
- Must take direction in English
- Specific experience in sewing aprons or related garments is highly desirable.
- Experience in a production environment where time and quality are paramount.
