We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting with diagnostic evaluations and medical imaging procedures. If you have a strong background in X-Ray, Mammography, Sonography, and other medical imaging techniques, we encourage you to apply.
```Responsibilities```
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-Rays, Mammography, Sonography, PET scans, etc.
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Assist in the evaluation of images for diagnostic purposes
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
```Qualifications```
- Associate's degree or certification in Medical Imaging or related field
- Valid certification in X-Ray, Mammography, Sonography, or other relevant medical imaging techniques
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Proficient in performing diagnostic evaluations and interpreting results
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience working in an ER or similar fast-paced environment is preferred
