What You'll Do
- Assures daily scheduled production is completed in a timely and cost efficient manner.
- Responsible to stack finished product when completed.
- Assists operator with training of new operations personnel.
- Required to perform as operator during his/her absence.
- Under the direction of the Machine Operator, assists in machine set up, feed and stack operations, and removal of printing plates and cutting dies are done in a timely, orderly and cost efficient manner.
- Assists operator to assure completed product meets specifications of customer needs.
- Assures customer expectations are consistently met in terms of quality, quantity, and product is produced in a timely manner consistent with established guidelines.
- Assists Machine Operator to assure preventative maintenance schedule is consistently adhered to.
- Maintains excellent housekeeping and general organization in the converting production areas.
- Supports and provides suggestions for continuous improvement activities to improve processes and procedures.
- May occasionally operate powered industrial equipment (hilo).
- Supports and adheres to internal quality and safety programs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand and twist over a long periods of time.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational and motivational skills.
- Ability to maintain diplomacy, confidentiality and tact essential, as individual has access to high levels of cost, design and company sensitive materials.
- Must be able to work with frequently changing priorities.
