Successful candidate will support production and sales of the Versa product line.

Responsibilities

Create mechanical designs that meet the needs of the customer and production utilizing Solidworks CAD.

Generate accurate BOM's for production.

Assist customers in specifying and quoting machinery that best meets their requirements.

Assist management in costing machinery using pc/MRP.

Develop and quote customers.

Accept and enter machinery PO's

Work with production to assure machines are built according to prints.

Assist in performing a power-up check on newly constructed machinery.

Assist in performing to ensure machines meet strict performance requirements.

Assist in performing final QC checklists of new machines prior to shipment .

Troubleshoot customer mechanical issues over the phone and on-site.

Occasional travel to customer sites to assist with Versa machinery start-ups

Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate solid and successful experience in all responsibilities, Must communicate and work well with all departments. Must demonstrate proficiency in CAD. Knowledge of industrial controls a plus. Applicant must have solid communication skills to interface well with customers and suppliers alike. Must have or be eligible for international travel passport.
