Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid exchanges to keep vehicles running smoothly.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and computer software.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential problems or safety concerns.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper functioning.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and provide recommendations for maintenance.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through ongoing training and education.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical program in automotive repair is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and computer software to diagnose vehicle issues.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
