We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to ensure smooth and efficient operations at the front desk. As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will oversee the daily activities of the front desk staff, provide training and support, and handle guest inquiries and issues. Additionally, the ability to cover shifts on short notice is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the front desk team to ensure high standards of customer service are maintained.
  • Oversee daily front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate front desk staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor and ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operations.
  • Prepare and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and end-of-day reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Assist with front desk duties during peak times or staff shortages, including the ability to cover shifts on short notice.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably with Hilton.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., OPERA, PMS) and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to cover shifts on short notice as needed.
