Quality Assurance Manager

Location: On-site Madison, WI

Reports to: GM

Salary: $90-$115K Bonus: 15%

Job Description:

· Support bakery operations by maintaining and implementing food safety policies

· Implement food safety regulatory changes

· Maintain gluten free, organic, and non-GMO programs for four production lines

· Primary auditor contact for SQF, gluten free, organic, and non-GMO

· Record and maintain audit documents and maintain CCP documents

· Report any out of specification verification checks to Production Manager

· Assist in resolution of customer complaints

· Assume SQF Practitioner responsibilities as described in the SQF code

· Maintain HACCP program

· Monitor sanitation and environment

· Ensure employee training is complete

· Develop GMPs and food safety requirements

· Maintain a clean safe environment, safe equipment and maintain a steady work pace

· Pass audits and inspections

· Maintain good relationships with stakeholders

· Manage In-Process Auditor and one technician

Qualifications:

· 3-5 years’ experience in food safety and food safety/quality test methods

· Certification including SQF Practitioner, HACCP, and FSPCA

· Participate in gluten proficiency testing

· Maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
