The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accounting support to the finance manager or other managers within the department. This individual will track and research any accounting issues that arise. They will work closely with all internal business units to aid in their financial tracking. 

Responsibilities

· Provide accounting and clerical support.

· Assist with the data entry of accounts payable invoices, production accounting and journal entries.

· Verify three-way match an accounts payable process that checks that the details on a purchase order, the supplier's invoice and the delivery receipt match before an invoice post in system.

· Verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records.

· Review aging and Process payments.

· Investigates accounts payable issues as needed.

· Maintain assets/expense accounts schedule with detailed description.

· Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies.

· Produce monthly financial records and reports.

· Continuing to improve the AP process.

· Managing audit requirement.

· Follow up with TCC team to make sure Accounts payable processes and procedures follow to maintain smooth work.

· Work with team to support, AR, Production clerk, accounting data entry work as needed.

· Work closely with Controller on all financial reports.

· Understand expense accounts and cost centers.

· Maintain vendor relationships, correspondence, and query response.

· Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong problem solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and bookkeeping principles
• Demonstrated solid working knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Word, Excel, Sage 100, and ADP.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and possess excellent follow up skills.
• Must be comfortable in engaging with all levels of leadership.
• Minimum of 2 years of work-related experience.
• Superior organizational skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to details.
• Must work well as part of a team as well as independently.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.
• Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
