Job Description

**Job Summary:**

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) plays a crucial role in providing direct care and support to individuals receiving behavioral health services. The BHT will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the well-being and safety of clients in a residential or clinical setting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by clinical team

- Provide direct care and support to clients in daily activities, including personal care, meals, and recreational activities

- Monitor and document client behavior and progress

- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed

- Collaborate with clinical team members to ensure coordinated care

- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients

- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred

- Previous experience in behavioral health or direct care setting preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

- CPR and First Aid certification required

**Job Summary:**

The Direct Care Staff play a vital role in providing direct support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs. The Direct Care Staff will work closely with clients to promote independence, socialization, and overall well-being.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

- Implement individualized support plans and goals

- Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments and community activities

- Support clients in developing and maintaining social and life skills

- Monitor and document client progress and behavior

- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients

- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or training preferred

- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs preferred

- Compassion and patience in working with diverse populations

- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
