B Capital is Hiring an Investor Relations Associate Near New York, NY
BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supporting investor engagement by the Head of Strategic Relationships:
- Attending and taking notes at investor meetings and conferences, engaging in investor outreach and updating the CRM
- Planning, preparation and implementation of various investor conferences and events
- Prepping leadership for meetings and speaking roles
- Supporting the operational needs of the broader IR Team:
- Assisting with the preparation of fundraising materials including executive summaries, pitch books, PPMs, DDQs, etc.
- Collaborating with investment and finance teams to complete due diligence requests
- Supporting various initiatives in building out processes and infrastructure for the Investor Relations function
- BA/BS in a relevant discipline
- 1 - 2 years of experience in investor relations preferred or business development at an asset manager, financial institution or placement agent
- Proficient and experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Effective team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing skills and interest
- Ability to project manage timely and effectively across multiple initiatives
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
- Strong attention to detail and genuine passion for excellence
- Results oriented, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Problem-solver mentality with the ability to research solutions and propose resolutions
