Position Overview :
The Modern Workplace Engineer will be responsible for both the support and development of our Modern Workplace environment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to ensure a seamless digital experience for our users.
Key Responsibilities :
Support and Development:
Azure :
Manage and troubleshoot Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) configurations, including user groups and app registrations.
Develop and implement secure solutions using Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
Oversee and optimize Azure infrastructure, including Virtual Machines and Virtual Networks.
OneDrive :
Troubleshoot sync issues, restore deleted files, and investigate missing files.
SharePoint :
Utilize SharePoint lists for process tracking and automate workflows using
Power Automate.
Provide support for SharePoint Online sites, including troubleshooting issues
Teams :
Update and manage Teams and app policies.
Provide support for Microsoft Teams, including troubleshooting and resolving user issues.
Power Platform :
Administer environment and security controls.
Develop and assist in building solutions using Model Apps, Canvas Apps, and Power Automate.
Provide support for Power Platform applications, including troubleshooting and assisting users with design and implementation.
Customize and extend the CoE kit and create custom connectors for APIs.
PowerShell :
Develop and maintain scripts for automation and ad-hoc actions using Graph APIs and PnP.
Power BI:
Create and manage reports using DataVerse data.
Project Involvement :
Participate in the planning, execution, and support of Modern Workplace projects and initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
Contribute to the migration of content and services during M365 transitions. Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on M365 and Power Platform.
Proficient in Azure, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and other M365 services.
Experience with Power Platform development (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Strong understanding of security and compliance within the M365 environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills :
Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-100, MS-101).
Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python).
Familiarity with other collaboration tools and technologies.
