Our team is currently looking for an Instrumentation and Controls (I & C) Project Engineer to join our team of top-talent.

Location: Port Arthur, TX

Immediate Opening

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage instrumentation projects ranging from $50k - $5M.
• Handle a number of smaller projects concurrently with one larger project (4-8 projects simultaneously).
• Manage projects such as changing transmitters on tank farms, controls stations, safety PLC, etc.
• Serve as a department technical expert on instrument issues to assist/advise other Project Managers in their projects.
• Review and Interpret P&IDs, do MOC, coordinate with construction team, safety team, etc.
• Track costs, maintain budget and schedules.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years of proven experience directly managing implementation of instrumentation / controls projects including ownership of cost, budget and schedule.
• Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Triconex, etc) and DCS (Honeywell, etc.)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.

Note: This position will be on-site in Port Arthur, TX, working a 4/10 schedule.
