Who We Are Hiring
We are looking for an audiologist to work at our busy Goldsboro location.
We need a high-energy provider who has a real heart for their patients. The ideal candidate will be a kind, thoughtful professional who has an interest in really getting to know their patients. Our new patient appointments are usually scheduled for 60-90 minutes to ensure sufficient time for detailed case history, understanding each patient’s unique story and identifying their treatment needs. Our providers are expected to recommend treatment (or not) based on what's in the patient's best interest instead of what's best for the bottom line. The ability to work as a part of a team is a must. Our team, from the front desk to our providers, have been carefully chosen for their clinical knowledge/skill, people skills and interpersonal skills. Everyone on our team is a true professional who puts our patients first in all that they do.
We are looking for someone who wants to be a part of the local community and who has an interest in community outreach and education.
Our cochlear implant program is growing, and we would count on our new provider to continue to support that growth and help maintain relationships with referring surgeons. Vestibular testing is another area of our practice in which we would like to see growth. We understand that each audiologist's experience is different, and we will provide any training necessary so that they feel comfortable with areas in which they have not worked before.
This position is unique, as it offers the opportunity to be involved will all aspects of private practice audiology. This person will be given decision-making flexibility in areas such as advertising, strategic planning, community events, manufacturers, etc. We are open to new ideas and trying new things and we rely on our providers' input to make these decisions. We also expect our staff to always be thinking of ways to help us reach more patients and make a bigger impact.
If you're looking for a patient-centered, fun place to work (that also allows you the freedom to do what you think is best for your patient), this might be the job for you!
Requirements
Pay Plan
The pay structure for this position is salary plus profit-sharing. The profit-sharing part of the paycheck is based on the entire team's sales and performance, not just the patients that you see.
Schedule
We are looking for someone who will work 3 days a week. Monday is the only day that is required. The other 2 days are negotiable.
Please reach out if you are interested in the position or have any questions. Our practice is growing and we are always looking for new team members who do things "the right way" and treat patients like they would their own family. Though this position is part time, there is a strong possiblity that it could become full time in the future, if you and the practice decide together that this is something that we want to do.
We look forward to hearing from you!
