Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist our healthcare providers in ensuring quality patient care and efficient operations within our medical practice.

Duties:

- Perform various clinical and administrative tasks to support patient care
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Conduct basic laboratory procedures and operate medical equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Utilize medical terminology accurately in documentation and communication
- Perform venipuncture for blood draws
- Assist with patient education and follow-up care instructions

Skills:

- Proficiency in patient service and care delivery
- Experience in specimen collection processing and laboratory procedures
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation
- Competence in venipuncture techniques for blood collection
- Understanding of laboratory techniques and equipment operation
- Ability to work effectively in a clinical setting
