Mojave Energy Services is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Lubbock, TX
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on accounts receivable processes.
**Responsibilities:**
- Process and post customer payments to accounts
- Prepare and send out invoices
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
- Communicate with customers to address billing inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies
- Assist in month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable
**Skills:**
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in journal entries and data entry
- Experience with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, OpenInvoice, Ariba, or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding billing matters
- Ability to negotiate payment terms with customers when necessary
- Knowledge of corporate accounting practices
- Familiarity with oil and gas terminology and coding.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
