Position Overview

The Senior Tax Associate will report directly to the Tax partner. This role involves providing U.S. tax compliance and advisory services to a variety of clients, including high net worth U.S. persons overseas, globally mobile U.S. persons, non-U.S. trusts, and non-U.S. individuals with U.S. investments. The individual will work as part of a team to gather and process data on complex tax issues, transactions, and structuring.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide U.S. tax compliance and advisory services to a variety of clients.
• Assist in gathering and processing data on complex tax issues, transactions, and structuring.
• Develop technical knowledge in areas relevant to clients, including U.S. domestic and international tax provisions applicable to high net worth U.S. persons overseas, globally mobile U.S. persons, non-U.S. trusts, and non-U.S. individuals with U.S. investments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance/economics, or law.
• Desire to obtain CPA (or CPA candidate), and/or Enrolled Agent.
• Excellent commercial, organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong people skills, detail-oriented, with the ability to work on one’s initiative and meet tight deadlines.
• Full proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and electronic research tools.
