A leader in logistics automation is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Business Development to lead their growth in the USA. This role is centered on leading sales strategies, optimizing revenue generation, and expanding their customer base. The successful candidate with expertise in commercial and marketing strategies will be instrumental in shaping their brand strategy, enhancing their market position, and achieving annual budgetary goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Visionary Leadership and Strategic Growth: Drive significant revenue growth by developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for sales channels, business development, and marketing.
Market Identification and Expansion: Create a market map to identify key potential customers, and capitalize on expansion opportunities through direct sales teams and partner networks.
Partnership and Alliance Development: Establish and cultivate partnerships with key clients and industry partners, leveraging personal networks in industrial automation, logistics, material handling, and manufacturing.
KPI Management and Data-Driven Decisions: Set and monitor KPIs for the business development team, utilizing data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions for growth.
Integrated Marketing and Brand Building: Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that align with business goals, oversee brand-building initiatives, and generate leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
Go-to-Market Strategy and Customer Engagement: Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy, manage relationships with integration partners, and ensure accurate CRM data. Understand customer demand and create proposals in collaboration with internal departments.
Product Customization and Industry Trends: Collaborate with Product and Engineering Divisions to tailor offerings for various industries and markets, while staying informed about global industry trends and regulatory changes.
Industry Influence and Representation: Enhance the company’s influence by participating in committees, industry boards, and representing the company at events, trade shows, and through public speaking engagements.
