Physical Therapist Job Description
Mission:
We fill a much needed gap in healthcare to ease the burden of those at risk of or with lymphedema, and those going through cancer treatment, with expert evidence-based and compassionate care.
Vision:
To establish an evidence based Lymphedema Prevention Program and Oncology Rehabilitation Center as a standard of care.
We are an out-of-network provider and provide one-on-one care.
This means that we create our own plans of care that are not dictated by insurance limitations.
Staff Physical Therapist Mentorship Program - Part/Full Time (30-35 hrs/wk)
- Requirements
- Maintain current and valid California PT License
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification
- Have an interest in Oncology Rehabilitation and be willing to train in Lymphedema Care
- Patient Care
- 20-28 direct patient hours/week
- Duties & Expectations
- Evaluate and treat patients at Heart of Gold Physical Therapy
- Participate in the Mentorship Program and attend all staff meetings
- Set your own schedule
- Write one newsletter article or content post per month on mutually agreed upon topics
- Represent Heart of Gold Physical Therapy at marketing/community events/clinics with a minimum of one per quarter
